What can someone do for fun that's free....be creative

The island in the middle of the road. People driving by will stare at you funny.

Well aside from gas cost.
Pack some lunch and go hiking through a really remote beatifull area (here I have what is called the Flume Gorge) then stop and have some food at the best part of the whole hike.
Follow that up with some skinny dipping in a nearby river or lake. OR even the ocean (if you can do it without getting caught). I say skinny dipping becuase the thrill of avoiding getting caught is so great that it makes it more fun. Follow it all up by a nice ice cream cone and watching the sun set and then the stars coming out.

walk to the nearest 7-11 or convience store(it helps if they can speak english) and before you walk in, make all your clothes disheveled, hair disheveled, ect. basicially look crazy, practice a crazy stance or hand movment, walk in, and in a loud voice yell
"is it 5:00?" (do this before 5pm obviously) they will say no, and tell you what time it really is, then walk out. wait like 20 minutes
walk in, do the same crazy **** you were doing before, and yell
"is it 5:00?" they will say no again and tell you what time it is.
Do this like 3-4 more times, by now, the employees will be pretty
freaked out, now, here's the best part; when IT IS 5:00, just walk back to the store and hide, don't go into the store. you will see that olmost, if not all of the employees will be gone, they'll proboly
wont be a single car in the parking lot; all b/c for fear of what would happen at that store at 5:00.--------a buncha friends of mine
did that and it was hilarious.

Take a bicycle ride with a picnic to somewhere you have never been, or have been and enjoyed.
You can take a picnic lunch in a backpack, or even an alcohol stove and camp dishware and something to cook.

A book of poetry, and depending upon your age, a bottle of wine and a metal goblet are also nice for the place you stop to picnic and enjoy.

You will improve your circulation, enjoy the fresh air and be able to alter your destination at any given moment on your ride.

I'm just getting ready to take my canoe out for a 2-hour paddle. It's a lovely day, the sun is shining, there's a little breeze, so it won't be too hot, and the water won't be crowded with all the weekend warriors who come out. There's enough surf to play in, and that's all I need! Wish you could join me!
