People go to the movies to see the story, not so much the actors. Unfortunately, they have driven the Mission Impossible idea into the ground...

Who`s Tom Cruise?

Not from me I do not rent or watch any of his movies. No soundtrack or anything associated with it. Some people went. What did the other 2 make and see if it is down. Sometime Scientology pays to make those things look better. It was probably some of them buying up tickets and some people do see whatever. Scientology buys their own books to make them best sellers and buys tickets of him when he is falling.

I used to be an avid fan who sought him out. Now I boycott all scientologist since the Shields incident. I did not realize that they wanted women with postpartum depression to go without meds. That would lead to more Andrea Yates tragedies and we do not need babies and children dead.

MI 3 came out before he went completely off the deep end. That's why it did so well I think. I haven't seen it and don't intend to either.

I used to like Tom Cruise before he became insane. I haven't seen any of his recent work because of it.

I didn't go see it. I always liked Cruise and now I boycot him. DH wanted to see that alien movie he had that came out, he had to drag me to the tv set. He's such a self righteous jerk and a brainwasher besides. Too bad a woman can't make up her own mind and still be considered worthy to him. GAG

I've never met him. I like his movies, but I missed all the MI movies.
