Well, I think step one is to renounce the Kool aid
2. throw out any tin foil hat making materials
3. Stop watching countdown
4. realize that people need to think for themselves
5. Stop driving uber euro elitist cars like the porsche and 7 series beemer
6. start a debate with facts...not innuendo and doublespeak
7. Refer to the sitting President as The President. Not Chimpy Mcbushitler
8. accept that 911 was NOT an inside job
9 accept that John Kerry would have been worse for us
10. accept the fact that the sixties dude , are , like, OVER.
11. accept the fact that common sense is what really makes a conservative conservative
12. Accept the fact that we are STILL cleaning up Clintons mess...and not the one in the oval office!

It's hypocritical to on the one hand decry the hatred and personalizing of politics and on the other to contribute to it.
I believe Bush-type conservatives are mostly sincere but misguided, and that libertarians are idealists whose system is as unrealistic and unattainable as communism (where has there ever been either a socialist/utopian or libertopian society or government in the modern age?)
But that doesn't make me post so-called "questions" that are personally demeaning and question the sincerity or intelligence of true believers.
There are a few idiots of all political beliefs who post angry, sarcastic "questions" just trolling for responses. I don't think this is a group or a methodology that you would like to be affiliated with, or that you will win many converts to your views by such derogatory and angry words.
Prove yourself better than that and withdraw this question.

You have to be addicted to something for a 12-step program to be of any use. In their cases, it's not addiction, it's their core beliefs. Agree or disagree with them as you like, but a person's core beliefs don't change easily.
But I get it - this is just more trolling, isn't it? Oh well - in that case, I'll just take my two points and be on my way.
