She should be reported to the school board. Do it.

Cuse her out in Spanish. If you're that good you can say things the other students don't know. Let her have it between the eyes.

If she takes you to task, as the head of the school to query the other students about EXACTLY what you said. You know, bear witness!

Put her in her place like a Mexican would.

If she's NOT Spanish or Mexican (a white teacher) try something so off the wall they won't even know what you said! Let them go look it up in their Funk and Wagnals!

I think you should prove her wrong. Every time you have a chance to answer a question raise your hand. Or you can have a conversation with her in SPANISH. You can also say a statement or a compliment to her in Spanish. I think that will surprise her. I'm in Spanish 2, too. Hope everything goes well. Good Luck!!

You get your parents involved because the teacher is in the wrong for calling you stupid. Get the super intendent involved... ask for a public apology... an apology written and published in the local newspaper... a copy of a written reprimand which goes in the teacher's permanent employment record... Then get the lawyers involved and threaten a law suit if your demands aren't met. (don't really sue because that is just taking money away from yourself as a tax payer).

This is a big issue. You need to take this to the principal or headmaster of your school. She is predjudiced (pre-judging you based on your family's prior behaviour) and is harrassing you. This has gone on too long already. You are an important person and deserve to be treated equally along with the other people in your class. Chances are, you're not the only one she's pulling this garbage with either.

Don't think that the teacher is not noticing that you are inteligent, she is just trying to break you. Don't allow her to do so. I think you need to inform your teacher that you don't appreciate the way that she speaks to you and if she does this will encourage you to do your studies even better.

If the teacher's reaction is not pleasing to you then u need to go to some higher authority and inform them of that teacher's behaviour.

Remember, this is for your own interest. And remember, the better you do in your studies the more linient she will become. Let her know that you are strong and inteligent forever.... Give her something to remember when she leaves work in the evening

No one, especially someone calling themselves a teacher should be calling you stupid. You need to speak with this woman and let her know that her treatment of you is unacceptable and if it doesn't stop immediatly you will be forced to report her behavior to the principle and school board. You should also let your parents know whats going on. Teachers are supposed to help and nurture you, not ridicule you. She should know better as a teacher and an adult.

Work to the best of your abilities every class. And for that Spanish class... forget about her. She should be fired!!!!!! That's cruel of your Spanish teacher to do that. Calling you names - I don't think so...... Treating everyone better and not you. Have your parents talk to the head of the school immiediately..
Good Luck! : )

You are very cleaver and you will be more each day. Please tell your teacher you have find the way to avoid violence in English language, as well as in Spanish. It is grounded in "Being conscious above the great value of life and its transcendence, so that by conviction more than by laws or threatens, all of us become Genuinely Sincere, Grateful and Respectful with The One Who Gave us Life, with Mother nature and with ourselves" It is accepted by Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Christians and so on, and it is in bought languages in my source below.

I agree with Hank mostly.I don't think the layer is necessary
but you should stand up for yourself & other students subject to her abuse. I also agree with RuShorty417 in that, you can't let her get to you because she's just way immiture.
Calling anyone stupid is immiture
but for someone her age & in her position?
She needs a swift kick in the humility button.
Don't wait for the next time, nip it in the bud now.
You deserve respect.
