Yes, I LOVE that movie.
Notice how when Harold and his mother are having a "conversation," if you can call it that, Harold never says ONE WORD. That is cinematic gold.

It kind of creeped me out. You know at the end of a movie, in your head, you try to determine "Hmmm did I like that movie?" my mind said yes. I did like Harold and Maude...did you? I don't know if my "mind" would classify it as great. I sure do not think it was one of the best love stories of our time.

I've been watching that movie for years, welcome to the fan club. I finally got it on DVD, along with the Frisco Kid...I would have never my mom take my 59 hearse away...I would have freaked ******' out...
