you know, the one about the freelance weapons dealer. it makes out that it is very accuate but i don't trust films that say "based on actual events".

imho, i think lord of war, blow, and similar films were extremely accurate which is why they were boring. films like scarface, casino, and goodfellas though must have had a lot of details added in.

I think all of the actions are real.
The guy died though I am pretty sure.

it's based on a true story but hollywood will have changed some aspects just like they do to all true stories.
