Do you believe people show their feelings/emotions through the colors they are wearing (clothes)?

Only the ones who wear black ("I feel fat" "I feel depressed") or really bright colors ("Lookit, me, lookit' me!)"

Yes they can, but they do not have to do so. Fashion conscious people tend to wear clothes which reflect their inner state if fashion trends do not dictate otherwise (but everyone is wearing teal this week). Reds and warm colors for excitement. Blues and cool colors for relaxation. Grays and blacks for feeling down.

Those that are not fashion conscious may be entirely oblivious to what colors they are wearing (Albert Einstein wore gray sweat clothes everyday, just so he did not have to make a choice). This is often the case among the socially obtuse (such as myself).

There is also problems generalizing this all over the world, where some have a single outfit or several changes of the exact same color.

I know I do, can't speak for anyone else because I never really know what mood they're in. It's uncanny how what I reach for in my closet reflects my mood that day.

I would have to assume yes, because your mood would reflex the style so why not the colour as well.

yes...when i am in a crappy mood, i wear black
when i am in a sexy mood, i wear browns and greens
when i am in a spunky mood i wear pink
i wear purple just to throw people off
