he is having a Pirates of the Carribean themed birthday party and I would like to have ships as the centerpieces for the tables. I was thinking about making them out of carboard and popsicle sticks.

Was at Michael's Craft Store today. They have one you can build with what looks like giant puzzle pieces but it isn't difficult. It is sold in a clear cylidrical container and looks to be about 2' w x 2' t. when assembled. Check it out! Good luck.

I didn't see any pirate ship centerpieces, but this place has a TON of pirate themed crafts and decorations: http://www.orientaltrading.com/application?namespace=main&origin=home.jsp&event=link.home&tabId=Home
Just type "pirate" into the search box and go. I particularly like the inflatable pirate ship ring toss for a kid's party.

use some much less costly plywood planks. If it rains or is foggy then cardboard may be ruined identity tremendously plenty make it look like this from a surprising view <==> with each and each of those lines being a peice of timber it extremely is hooked up perpendicular to the floor, or regardless of else you're utilising as a base
