I like soft, floaty types that smell soapy or of flowers such as DKNY or Cerutti 1881 or cool water's. I hate heavy perfumes like that Angel perfumes.... it gives me a headache.
What do you wear??,
how much is it ??
and is it true you can refill your bottle's in department stores such as Boot's or John Lewis??

I love Yves St Laurent's OPIUM because of the cinnamon scent.I also like the irony of naming a perfume after a narcotic and that it's somewhat naughty. I haven't been told by anyone that I smell good, though. However, I've just started wearing it and I wear very little. and I don't get out much. That could be it.

Opium is very expensive (about $60 at discount stores for the eau de cologne- which i could never afford). I'm talking about the perfume here, not the drug! Although the drug must be very expensive, too.

So, I bought some partial bottles on ebay for under $20 including shipping. However, I'm not sure these are the real thing. One is a roller bottle that didn't say Opium "type" in the listing but came with that label. The seller claims ebay won't allow them to say they get the perfume from the Yves St. Laurent factory.

The second Opium eau de cologne which I bought on ebay also came with a surprise not evident in the listing. It came in a bottle which can't stand up - it has to lie down! The bottom of it comes to a point. It also has a surprise on its label - it says EDT after Opium on the cap. The seller claims she doesn't know why it says this or why the bottle is weird. She claims she got it as present from a Russian friend. (There's no Russian alphabet lettering). Some present. It does smell like the real thing.

Now, I'm awaiting my third ebay Opium purchase but this is to be the real perfume in the original bottle and it's from an ebay "store" that is all vintage perfumes. So this may be the real thing!

I think Vera Wang's perfume would fit your requirements for the perfumes you like. It's totally different from Opium but I like it and wear it sometimes. It's light and flowery and clean smelling.

Many perfumes, both female and male, irritate my sinuses and give me a headache, too. Part of this is when people, especially males, wear too much and it arrives in advance of them and lingers after them. It can fill an elevator.

Sorry for writing a book.

Cherry Vanilla. The smell is soft and sweet. I let my 6 year old daughter have a spray every now and then, it's that light. Love the scent. You can actually buy it at Walmart, go figure. It's only like $12.00 a bottle. I have a hard time finding perfume that smells good, this is it. Fell in love with it and have been wearing it for almost 2 years now.

Philosophy Amazing Grace. It smells really light and flowery and fresh but not like baby powder (yuck). I have a perfume solid that was something like $20 and a spray that I think runs $15 for the travel size to $35 for the full size. Totally worth it and I have also gotten compliments on how good I smell.

A agree with the Angel comment. It's a contridiction in terms being called angel as the devil wears it.
Bvlgari pour femme is my signature fragrance.
Although look out for the new launch of the Guerlain fragrance called Insolence. It's lovely. Out in September!

Be Delicious by DKNY
It smells really fresh and fun but not overpoweringly sweet or strong. It's great!
I bought the set with the lotions so it cost a little more, around 70 dollars.
I'm not sure about the refilling but probably not.

I wear Anais Anais but am not sure how much it costs as I usually buy it when I go on holiday (duty free).

No it is not true that department stores will refill your bottles, they would not make any profit giving it away. I am afraid you will have to purchase new bottles of perfume when you run out of it.
