I never liked my first name because I was named after my Mom (yes, I'm practically a female "junior") and it's an old-fashioned names. All my friends in school were Nickys and Tiffanys and Brittanys and here I was with an old lady name. I was always jealous.

I always hated my first name...I wanted to be called Amy. I was supposed to be called Amy. My mother said that when I came out, I didn't look like an Amy. Kids used to tease me about my name, I tried shortening it, I even tried calling myself Amy. Hard to train the people around you to call you by a different name. Now that I am older, I like my name, it is different and unique. Like me.

I don't like my first name because it's too common. My name is Guadalupe. They also call me Lupe to make it shorter but it doesn't fit me. I wanna be called Ogyniy or Dinamy.
