Has there ever been any single disorder that is common among them.
Everyone can spout this or that but has there been any significant link to any specific disorder.

See.... this is the thing about this site.
I had put some research into my question and though I had it kind of though out and tried to be straight to the point. Also with a catchy tittle to grab attention.
And all you get is a bunch of bloviation even attacking me as though I approve of Prenatal Crack Addiction.
Well the only thing I could find was some breathing disorders and eating disorder later in life possibly attributable to prenatal crack addiction.

Yes they are poor little WEE ONES but do they need a stigma attached to them also that may impede the progress as a child.

I'm going back to the dub questions just for fun...for I find nary a soul that could add anything of value to a logical argument.

Possibly this possibly that ...bla bla bla.

You would all rather attack me as an idiot that use your small brains for anything but changing the batteries in the remote.

Low birth weight is a given leading to possible death.

Okay, well I work with babies who were prenatlly exposed to drugs, such as crack, and they almost always have problems. They are slow to develop, and sometimes end up menatlly retarded. They are taken away from their mothers at birth and put into foster care which brings on a whole other set of problems. As long as these children are given early intervention services they can end up just fine.

*Thanks for telling us we all have small brains. That's really rude. I didn't attack you in any way, I just told you what I see as I work with these babies. To answer your question about any disorder that is linked to crack use, no there isn't any specific one. Like I said before it's basically just learning problems, and later on in life these children usually end up being fine.

During pregnancy, there is a cord that runs from the mother to the infant. Now what ever the mother consumes the baby gets it..You are probably trying to convince yourself that it is OK to smoke crack while you are pregnant. It is soooo wrong to inflict a drug on someone (even a fetus, which is a little person) who has no ability to stop you.

A tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.- Will Shakespeare.

Tell that to the nurses and foster mothers who care for babies born from crackheads. The ones who tend the crying, shaking, unconsolable poor wee infants.

Whats your point? THEY HAVE BEEN PROVEN.

Cocaine:
Common slang names: bump, toot, C, coke, crack, flake, snow and candy
What happens when a pregnant woman consumes cocaine: Cocaine crosses the placenta and enters your baby's circulation. The elimination of cocaine is slower in a fetus than in an adult. This means that cocaine remains in the baby's body much longer than it does in your body.
How can cocaine affect my unborn baby: According to the Organization of Teratology Information Services (OTIS), during the early months of pregnancy cocaine exposure may increase the risk of miscarriage. Later in pregnancy, cocaine use can cause placental abruption. Placental abruption can lead to severe bleeding, preterm birth, and fetal death. OTIS also states that the risk of a birth defect appears to be greater when the mother has used cocaine frequently during pregnancy. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology (ACOG), women who use cocaine during their pregnancy have a 25 % increased chance of premature labor. Babies born to mothers who use cocaine throughout their pregnancy may also have a smaller head and their growth hindered. Babies who are exposed to cocaine later in pregnancy may be born dependent and suffer from withdrawal symptoms such as tremors, sleeplessness, muscle spasms, and difficulties feeding. Some experts believe that learning difficulties may result as the child gets older. Defects of the genitals, kidneys, and brain are also possible.
What if I consumed cocaine before I knew I was pregnant: There have not been any conclusive studies done on single doses of cocaine during pregnancy. Birth defects and other side effects are usually a result of prolonged use, but because studies are inconclusive, it is best to avoid cocaine altogether. Cocaine is a very addictive drug and experimentation often leads to abuse of the drug
