Honestly, I think the African Americans are some of the most gifted people on the face of the earth.
Even more so than their African brethren. Look at the arts, musical, dancing, comedy, etc... Then look at athletics, they excel in almost all sports.
And considering what they have been thru, they are some of the nicest most positive people. I know there are many exceptions but in general.
Not that Latinos are without talent, I just think the blacks have the edge.
Sorry, hard to answer this question without any bias.

Dear questioner: Latinos are not a recognized race of Mankind; they are an ethnic or cultural group. Latinos can be any of the 3 major races of man. Even my family is of royal Spanish descent and I look Anglo because the Spanish married the French who married the English who came to America who were legal citizens of the Republic of Mexico.
So, now, I ask you, what race is the average "Mexican" with brown skin that speaks Spanish? Most are of mixed blood--European and native Indians.
I'm not a racist either. We all belong to the human race and we are all brothers and sisters. I share the same blood as you and every one else.

You may not be trying to be racist, but the question obviously sounds that way. I would say no race is better then the other. There are many hispanic people that have made differences to this world and many african american people who have also made differences for the better and for the worse. I am a lover of hispanic dance, they have a strong proud culture, and I know many well educated and smart hispanics. My fellow african americans aren't shortstopping in the brains department either. We have made many contributions to this country even we we were oppressed by slavery and ignorance. Hmmm. neither seem like they are slackers and neither seem to be above the world. Just because the contributions to the world are different makes them no less important to this world.
