In the movie A.I., David, the A.I. boy finally saw his mom for only a day. If you have not seen the movie, it is a must. It made me cry for a very long time. I know this is so cliche but I also cried in the bathroom of the movie theater after watching Titanic for about an hour. That has been the longest time I have ever cried for a movie.

The moment that comes to mind is one that occurs at the end of Gone With the Wind. Where Rhett Butler leaves Scarlett. What a movie that was?!

This old movie with Lana Turner..........She has an African American maid who has a daughter who is light enough to pass for white. The daughter is ashamed of her black heritage and leaves home and gets a job as a white dancer. When he mother visits, she pretends that she was her former "mammy". Then her mother dies and the girl pushes through the crowd to the flower-covered casket, crying, "Momma, I'm sorry."

When they kill Kong, in the movie King Kong. I haven't been able to watch that movie since I was a kid, because I get all snotty nosed. I rented the remake, but never watched the ending. He was the last of his kind, why the hell couldn't they just leave the dude alone on his island paradise.

In Dancer in the Dark when Bjork's Character, Selma, takes her glasses off and tosses them over the railroad/bridge, surrendering to her (basically) blindness, and the song I've Seen It All begins. *cry*
Also, one of the last scenes in Sybil where you get to see the most horrible thing Sybil's mother did to her as a child. The grown-up Sybil talking in the background of the scene, describing the setting, is what destroys me.
