Im closer to both, but it depends on the situation:
When i'm depressed or angry i'll tell my mum about it, and she'll give me advice...
But recently, i've just had the greatest shock of my life...i've been rejected from the universities i had applied to....the uncertainty of my future brought tears to my eyes...and i found that a great big hug from dad helped me a lot

I used to be much closer with mom, and have always been up until a couple of years ago. Not that I'm any less close to her now, but really much closer with my dad.

For a while it was my dad, but then my mom became sick. While I was taking care of her, we definitely grew closer. A lot of emotional wounds were healed between us. Today both my mom and our relationship are doing very well.

I am 42 years old, with 3 kids of my own and both my parents still frustrate me and try to tell me what to do. I am closer with my mom, if I had to choose.

i think im closer to my mom because i can talk to her easier but i love my dad too.

My MOM! and always will be...............thinking my girls will always be closer to emthan their dad as well it is easier to talk to mom i think
