People trust Democrats to handle our national security. In the latest CBS News and ABC News polls, more people trust Democrats to make the right decisions on Iraq. And in the latest Newsweek poll, nearly two-thirds of Americans agree that the war in Iraq has not made us safer from terrorism.
Meanwhile, as Iraq descends into civil war and becomes a new training ground for international terrorists, cargo coming into our country still isn't being inspected.
While the Party of Bush scrambles to write its latest talking points calling anyone who opposes them "al Qaeda types", nuclear materials sit unguarded in the former Soviet Union.
While the administration organizes lawyers to try to salvage its illegal domestic spying program, Osama bin Laden continues to remain free roaming around northwest Pakistan making videotapes five years after the tragic events of September 11th.

No, the economy has been terrific the past few years. Unemployment is almost non existent. Despite oil prices the economy still hums along. Home ownership is at an all time high. The debt is too high, but took a bid dip the past year. We need to fence the borders right away, the Repubs and Dems aren't gonna do that, so much for protecting us. Bush has handled the economy very well. He inherited a downward economy, 911 and the constant threat of more terrorism. I wish Bush would be more aggressive in the war on terror. He spends too much money thats for sure. He is fairly decent actually, but Iraq will make or break his legacy, and we all know how that is fairing, a big mess. If we need to go into Iran, and we have are army next door, Bush will look brilliant.

1,000's more terrorists - this is something I doubt you can prove, nor can I disprove. It is unknowable, because you cannot tell me what would have been the increase in terrorist ranks if we had not responded like we did.
Massive debt. The dot.com recession started in January 2000. The 9/11 attacks caused a huge economic loss. There would have been massive budget deficits regardless. Without the Bush tax cuts, our economy would have been in free-fall. The biggest budget deficit item is due to liberal spending by Congress, especially GOP congresscritters, on pork, medicare prescription plans, etc.
And the economy is not in the crapper. All economic indicators have been positive for quite some time. We had 18 straight quarters of growth.
Ever think of actually providing some documentation from a credible source with facts that support your opinion?

Last terrorist attack on American soil - 2001.
Massive debt - so what? Massive debts have been around for decades.
Economy keeps chugging along. No recession since 2002. And 2002 was a relatively mild contraction in the North American economy.
Helluva job. Totally agreed.
If you are so miserable then the least you can do is suffer in silence and let the rest of us enjoy our prosperity.

Whats wrong with Americans that half of them voted for him and even now 1/3 of them are still supporting him and think he can do no wrong? What sort of brainwashing is this?

Bush has been mishandling his position for both his terms.
That is why I called people who voted for him twice, dumb...
Read 'Bushit', I wish I had the author's name with me but I don't. It outlines, in painful detail, what he has been doing to hurt all but the richest Americans. Most of it will take years to fix.
I really wish he would resign, but he ain't even smart enough to do that...
