I need to work full time to support myself and get the perk of tuition assistance for college.

I live alone and am 28.

My job is 9-5 Mon-Fri, I plan on taking night classes.

The most night classes I would take, especially if they are only 1 night a week, is 2. Night classes can be hard, fast paced and the classes are long ones. But it also depends on WHAT classes you're going to take. If you're gonna take some piece-of-cake classes then take 3 but if it's like a hard English class, History, Stats, Speech, Chemistry.... classes like that, I'd limit myself to 2.

I worked 9-5 for a semester once and took English 1A and Psych 1. Psych was really easy so I concentrated more on writing essays for English 1A. (I'm going for my RN license)

I am 20 doing school and work full time. My hours are from 3-11 so i got my classes mornings. But Next semester I will be working a reguarl 8-4 job. I Have my schedule picked out where I take one night class each monday thru tursday. Mine start at 6 and end at 8 or 8 30. Check into that and see. Some colleges also let you take weekend classes. Good luck on doing both.

Working full time and taking college courses, I commend you. I suggest taking classes that aren't too dificult. Maybe take between 9-12 credit hours, depending on what's required for tuition assistance. Try to take all your classes 3 days a week. This way, you'll have more time to study after work, and visit with your professor. Good Luck!

I would recommend no more than 13 credits per term and as someone else suggested, if you can do online classes it would be much easier on you. I currently attend college online working towards a B.S. in web design and I take around 13-14 credits per term.

Alot of my classmates work full time and they seem to manage ok with 13 credits, but it does get a bit hectic for them.

Depends, I would go full time & also take weekend classes. Shoot for 9 hours, then pick up more classes next semester, 12-15 is optinum.

I am currently enrolled at an on line school and I love it! I work full time and go to school full time as well. When you do an on line School you don't have to sit in class for 4 hours a t a time, you just do your assignment and your done. Credits are the same as an on-ground campus. Good luck!

2 classes will keep you pretty busy. I don't know too many people who have taken 3 or more while working full time - but it can be done if you're very disciplined.
