Check it out on eBay, or better yet go to a nearby Historical Society.

Well, this all depends on what you mean, and what the photos are of.

Usually, these old photos aren't going to be worth much monetarily unless they are of some significant person, event or item. A lot of the value will depend on the history of the photos as well. Who took them, where are they taken, what is happening in them, etc. It might involve doing research. Even if you knew all that, their value would likely be minimal.

Their historical value is probably quite a bit more likely. Historical societies love photographs like that, and indeed, WW2 historical documents and photographs are in high demand for their historical value now that the WW2 generation is passing on.

Interesting! WW2 aviation stuff is always good. Any of course nazi stuff is highly collectible. Most likely an American photo with that date.

Big pics, small pics? Mimeographed text on the back? official US intelligence photos? German made? All affect value.

Ebay is the place to test the value, but hold it until after thanksgiving, when the annual bidding frenzy begins.

Yes, they have a value, but perhaps not too expensive.

Military things have gotten cheaper in the past decade, probably because of fewer people interested in it, do to our society and prevailing beliefs. Even so, hang on to them, as they do have value. I've seen a book with annotations by a WWIl man who actually served in the navel battle and was in such a position that he knew all the positions and movements of everybody.
