what leather conditioner should i use for my saddle to give it grip?

It's an English M.Toulouse saddle that no matter how much i condition it, it just won't get grip. i DO NOT want the "saddle tite" stuff or whatever it is that literally glues you to your saddle but i just don't want it slick as ice....

Have you ever tried "saddle soap"? I don't know if that's what you're looking for but if you haven't tried it?

try leather new just spary and wipe.
