I loved/hated the ending of House of Flying Daggars
Titanic, Gladiator, Steel Magnolias, Sommersby brought tears... but my all time saddest movie pick is
City of Angels.

Il Postino. Not only did the character die at the end of the movie, the actor died 2 days after filming ended (He had a heart condition and knew he was dying but continued with the movie anyway)
