You do it the same way everyone else does it. You exercise at your own capacity, perhaps water aerobics due to the back problem and you take your thyroid medication which will help also. If you are extremely obese, you might consider bariatric surgery. But moderation in your diet and moving around is the key to any weight loss, even with surgery. Look up the "Exchange Diet". it's good and healthy. Good Luck.

First you need to get on a medication for your thyroid and get it under control. You may also want to try physical therapy for your slipped disk. After that then you will have all of the options that we have: diet and excerise (extreme cases surgery). You may want to go to a personal trainer or your doctor to find out what excersise you can do with your disk. Water aerobics or something you can do lying down would probably work well. Good luck!

A slipped disk can be aggrevated by extra bodily weight, and it may create pain or be become worse (aggravated) during exercise. The thyroid problem is vague as hyperthyroid gland or hypothyroid gland? If hypothyroidism, you would gain weight unless you take thyroid medications for it!!

This is something that you need to discuss with your doctor since they are more familiar with your situation. Ask them about Weight Watchers. I have known a lot of people that have lost a lot of weight with them, but not sure how it would work with the Thyroid problem.

Eat lot of vegetables with fibre contents(ask your doctor what vegetables to take) and eat a fruit( not juice) everyday.,In the morning have oats kanchi and drink buttermilk in the afternoons.
