go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

It sounds like you've only being trying for a short time and that you haven't had any problems in the past getting pregnant. So what are you freaking out about? I've had three kids. Two of which I got pregnant with the first time "trying" without even really trying, sort of like you. But the one we actually tried for took an extra month to conceive. So what I say is just relax and don't worry about it, stressing out makes it harder. You definitely shouldn't being "dieting", just eating healthy and exercising. Good luck!

You will swear Im crazy but Robatussin cough syurup has helped many women concieve. taken 2 to 3 times a day a table spoon at a time. Reason this works is that the mucus in our bodys is not only our lungs it also is produced in our vaginas and the coughmed thin out the mucus in the entire body there fore making it easier to get pregnant. Start taking folic acid as well and vitamin C this will help you become more healthy and if you are pregnant it is good for the baby. Good luck!

Timing is the only way a baby gets made. You can't just "create" it like a mixed drink. You should be taking your vitamins (good) and timing out your periods so you know the best ovulation times. All the other stuff about a full moon, or certain positions or whatever are just myths. It has to be the right time within your body.

Just read what you wrote. The first 2 were conceived without plan or intention. Take the pressure off and relax. Don't try too hard. Worked with the last 2.

Hi,
I know you are anxious, so am I. We have been trying for our second for about a year and a half. Everyone one here has really good advice. That book, Taking charge of your fertility is a really good book. I am going to try the cough syrup thing also. I know it is hard not to think about it, but it seems that is what has worked best for you, youve gotten pg both times when u least expected it. Good luck!!!

Prenatal vitamins do not help concieve. They are to be taken when your pregnant to ensure you get the propers nutrients and minerials while you are pregnant.
The only thing that I can suggest to you to get a positive result, is to not go pee right after sex. That way you do not lose sperm in the toilet and more of it stays inside longer. Also, do not stress. When your stressed out, it is harder to concieve.

With two previous pregnancies and no complications, you should be fine! Just relax and don't worry about it, it will happen!

Prenatal vitamins are good and some OBGYN's will recommend extra folic acid (GNC in the mall). Just eat healthy, stay away from processed foods and not too much fish (tuna).

Good luck and your husband is one lucky man (morning and night every day! ! ! !).

Enjoy it!

Girl calm your horses. Goodness. I thought I was bad. Trying for three cycles now and no positive for me yet :~( It is going to happen and you know it will. Don't diet too much and continue to do what you have always been doing. Do the standard chart your cycles and use ovulation kits. It is going to work. I know WE want it over night! GOOD LUCK
