What is the most expensive fashion item (dress, shoes, bag, etc.) in your closet? What do you wish for? I have a $300 Coach bag and I long for a pair of Cesare Paciotti shoes or an Alberta Ferreti Dress. :)

practically everything i own is a designer brand but the most expensive things i have are 340 dollar Chanel sunglasses and 10,000 dollar Louis Vuitton luggage.....and i also have quite a large collection of True Religion jeans.

I don't pay that much attention to labels. I can get a similar style for about half. The designer clothing that I do have, I bought at a discounted price from outlet stores and things like that. The most I've ever paid for a clothing item was when I was 15. I paid retail for a pair of leather and suede pants for club wear. Final cost - $500. I don't have them any more, thank god, but I thought they were the hottest thing back then.
Right now I have several formal dresses and one holiday suit that I think are the most expensive items in my closet. I don't remember all prices on the dresses, but the suit was $350 marked down to $120.

I love so many nice things from small botiques in So. Cal...can't always remember the name of the local designer or shop, but I always end up falling in love with a $400 pair of hot shoes or some cashmere something for around $350+

I guess the most expensive thing in my closet is my $180 formal dress. I wish I had a Baby Phat tee with a kitty on it. I'll buy it later when I get enough money. =)
