Voting Republican is a vote against TERROR and CRIME. Perhaps you don't mind Willie Horton and some PEDOPHILE sharing a house next door to yours instead of some prison cell where they can rape each other. But I DO!
Keep America safe for CHRISTIANS! We want the RAPTURE for ALL LOYAL AMERICANS.

YOU SHOULD VOTE ON THE ISSUES. BOTH OF THE MAIN PARTIES HAVE PROS AND CONS. ONE IS NOT BETTER THAN THE OTHER EXCEPT ON ISSUES THAT MATTER TO YOU. IF YOU HAVE NO DRUTHERS ACROSS THE BOARD THEN THE DEMOCRATIC VOTE SHOULD NOT APPEAL TO YOU EITHER. YOU SHOULD FIND SOMETHING YOU TRULY HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT AND THEN LEARN ALL YOU CAN. I VOTE (R) BASED ON THE THOUGHT THAT ALL AMERICANS SHOULD WORK FOR WHAT YOU GET AND NOT BE GIVEN HANDOUTS JUST BECAUSE. THE TAXES YOU PAY SUPPORT ALL THESE FOLKS THAT DON'T WANT TO WORK AND FEEL THE GOVT. OWES THEM FOR SOME REASON. IT IS A SAD DAY WHEN A PERSON CAN MAKE MORE MONEY BEING SUPPORTED BY THE GOVT( YOU AND ME) THAN TAKING A JOB. AND AS TAXES SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY THING YOU LIST AS AN ISSUE, HOW MUCH MORE MONEY WOULD YOU HAVE IF ALL OF THESE ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS WERE NOT IN PLACE? VOTE WITH YOUR HEAD AND ALWAYS VOTE.

First I would like to point out that Angelalley_06 must have a college education because her answer was well thought out and supported.........right.
Second, I would like to say that I feel the exact same way. I don't mind taxes, I don't care about terrorism, I don't care about other countries or illegal immigrants.
What I do is listen to the televised debates and see who is saying something that interests me. Then vote for that person. If you just vote for a party for the sake of voting for a party and not believing in what their views are, you do no one any good. If you just don't vote then you have no right to bit*h about how the country is being run.
See if the next time around there are issues being presented that pique your interest.

Democrats are clueless in the war against terror, wake up.
You are incorrect in Repubs being anti illegal alien. Both Repubs and Dems are for them. There are minority of Repubs in the SW that are speaking up against them. Bush is a bigger friend to them in fact. Clinton conducted far more illegal alien raids when he was in office. The problem I have with the illegal aliens is that if we legalize the 12 million or so that are here. They can petition their relatives, that would mean 50 million more people in our country and that is a bad thing. Then when the economy goes bust, and it goes in cycles. The unskilled workers will be hardest hit, you want to pay for them then? Think about that.
I am a Republican, but honestly, they are not getting the job done either. We are not being represented as well as we should be.

I live in a small town but even if there is no terrorist attacks at your city, then if the terrorists attack the major cities and destroy our government, what happens to your job? Your family? Your life?

It sounds like you don't give a damn about anything much, so please don't bother to vote either way and cancel the valid votes of people who do care.

There is no reason for you to change if you are comfortable with your party and their beliefs.
