There are two road in our town that have almost identical names;
locust road and locut avenue. why they did it, we have no clue....but now we are having trouble with our mail system and package delivery.
i called 911 and they said that they concurred and that it would be no problem to change the name of our road. they offered us the chance to name our road. do you have any suggestions for a country road?
the name shouldn't be too long...we don't want to have to write novels for our addresses. We agreed that it shouldn't be too cutesy or rude.
please help

Country Lane or Country Road
OR Star Trek Street! Now that's the one I'd use, but I'm a Trek nut.
Identical Drive...that's different.
And talk about delivery problems...in my neighborhood there is an intersection of Askham Drive at Askham Drive! Yep, 2 streets with the same name in the same subdivision. I believe what they did was change house numbers. Go figure!
