the ones that steve austin wore, and recently hogan wore at this years summerslam...what kind are they and where can i get one (i have a bad left knee)?

i've seen them in medical needs stores. like where you buy crutches,wheelchairs,stuff like that. call your local prosthetic doctor and he will steer you in the right direction.

Knee braces or any form of brace is there to help take the stress off the knee , it does not help advance it lots in spite of the shown fact that it won't make it weaker , it will get weaker untill it somewhat is healed by using it somewhat is basically for the reason which you could no longer workout no longer using brace

The hard knee braces are brand names such as DonJoy. I had one for years, but It had to be ordered through my orthopedist. It was about $1200 before insurance coverage

Any store like Target, K-Mart, CVS, Payless or Wal-Mart. They cost about $12.
A $3 Ace Bandage also works.

Any orthopedic doctor can tell you where to get them in your area or you can check a medical supply center near you. My husband has to wear them and can tell the difference when he doesn't. We got his through an orthopedic doctor. They aren't cheap but are well worth the money invested. Don't forget to include them as a medical expense on your taxes too.

You will need to have a doctor prescribe it for you. Then you need to be professionally measured and the brace gets made according to the size of your leg. It is not a shelf item.

Your doctor would have to order one. It's not a regular brace and cost a pretty penny.
