My cousin is getting married at the end of October, and I don't know what to wear. I want to look nice but I really don't want to wear a dress or skirt. That means I'll have to shave my legs...lol. The hair on my legs is like a light reddish color and is only noticeable up close, but I still don't want anyone to see it. I'm thinking about wearing a suit with pants, but I don't want to look really bad. Help! What should I do? Thanx.

You're right, maybe I should shave my legs just for this occasion, but I'm still not sure about the dress thing. I'm just not a dress-wearing type of girl.

When I went to my step-sisters wedding, her cousin had the same problem. She wore nice black (maybe navy blue) pants and a semi-business-y collared shirt (with vertical stripes). She looked great. You could make it look more wedding-ish if you wear heels too and add some nice simple jewelry. I have seen other people at weddings that wear pants and they look great. Just make the outfit look as dressy as possible (you cant be over-dressy since you'll have pants, so it will be perfect!)

A nice dressy suit would work if it's appropriate for the time of day and formality of the wedding. Suits on women at weddings are becoming more and more acceptable due to style preferences and weather conditions. Who wants to wear a knee length skirt in December?
If you can't find an evening or formal women's suit, maybe a really nice blouse with a pair of slacks.
You could also try some ankle length skirts or dresses so you would only have to shave to your knees, if at all.

You will have to do some looking but there are formal pant suits for women. I have seen some in the Lerner's catalog. May I also suggest that since it is a wedding that you please wear a long dress or skirt that will hide your leg hair it will be more appropriate for the occasion. Good Luck.

Just an idea, but it looks like the Gaucho's with knee boots are coming back again this fall. You wouldn't have to shave (Yay!), if you are Business Casual at work you could wear it again, and it's not a dress. Hope this helps ;)

I think you can find a nice pants suit that will do nicely or maybe a longer dress with hose. just a thought

Being that is is the end of October, a pantsuit will be fine. But, if you are serious about the shaving thing, can't you shave them for this occasion? Anyhoo, you will be fine.

You really should spring for a dress, if you get a long one you won't have to shave anyways. Whatever you do, don't wear white, that's about all.
