I'm having cramps mid-cycle. Im on day 15 of my cycle. I started testing positive ovulation on Sunday. Today is Thursday and yesterday I was still testing positive. My BF and I have been ttc. Could this be ovulation cramps or implantation cramps? How do you tell the difference? It's really hurting.

Hey there! It sounds like you are having ovulation cramping. The confusing thing is that ovulation cramping , implantation cramping, and period cramping are all about the same feeling. What gives it away is that you are only on day 15 and you are getting a pos ovulation test.. That's midcyle when most women ovulate. You may have these cramps for a few days and there is no need for alarm. Generally after a woman ovulates and if she were to conceive than she may feel implantation cramps (but not all women feel them) about 8-12 days after ovulation occurs. Then you may feel cramps again about the time you are expecting your period which could be either your period coming or early pregnancy signs. Now, you say your are really hurting. If it's so painful that you have problems standing or it begins to feel more than just a cramp and doesn't o away than call your doc just to make sure you don't have anything else going on. Good luck!!!
