It's a proven fact that people's hands become more animated while they are utterling an untruth.
The following are tell-tale signs:
a. Hands constantly touching their face, throat or mouth.
b. Hands constantly touching or scratching the nose or behind their ear.
c. Hands constantly adjusting the 'Please Believe Me!' sign attached to their forehead by an IKEA picture hook.

If i gotta do it....I lay em flat on the the table look down at them spread my fingers wide. then back at the eyes and have at it and never break eye contact. watch my breath and my swallowing. speak clearly and not fast. I can be a professional if need be. But it has been quite some time
