Estimates range from 69 billion to 110 billion people who lived before us. And, by the way, you don't need to go back to the beginning of time, since humans are a fairly recent addition to the population of Earth. Just counting the last million years should be enough.

I don't think it is as many as we may think. I read an article a few years ago that said that the number of people born from about 1900 to present is more than the entire number of people born from about 1900 to the beginning of time (or at least from when humans came into existance). I think we currently have about 4 billion living people on the planet, and I'm pretty sure that there was about 3 billion in the early 1980's, So, my guess is about 8 billion have died before today.

idk an exact # but think about it.........our whole world is built on dead bodies. everything that ever died is under our feet. the remains have no way to get off of this planet, so no matter where u go, i bet u anything that some thing or someone died there.------kinda scary isnt it-----------
