I doubt he has the hiccups. Never heard of that before. Possibly he's making clicking noises? If so...that's a symptom of a RI (respiratory infection). Check out this page: http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Respiratory.html . If that sounds like your dragon, it's time to take him to the vet.

It is possible for any animal with a diaphram to get the hiccups. Dont be alarmed by this, as hiccups are only spasm of the diaphram to regulate breathing.

There isnt much you can do for him, just wait them out. As long as there is no "whistling" or panting involved, its probably only hiccups & not a RI.

Good luck!

p.s. A hiccuping bearded could net you some bucks on america's funniest animals or video's. Grab a cam & tape him!

While I don't know about a bearded dragon, I do know that my cat gets the hiccups, so I'm guessing that your bearded dragon can get them too. I just rub my cats throat until the hiccups stop. I don't know if your bearded dragon will let you do that, but it's just my suggestion.

Have a lovely rest of the day.

it is possible. Well I pat my dog's back until they stop but I don't know if you want to do that or not.

As long as your bearded clam is ok. . . then it's all good. Me personally. . . I shave my dragon smooth and prefer my clams shaved smooth as well.
