America suffered crib death from the Baby Boomers. Those who made money off World War II and its aftermath established an exclusive aristocracy to guarantee that their little brats would rule: the Preppy Republic. To aid this regime, they allowed brown-nosing Yuppies to climb in class if they would sacrifice their pride and personality.

Pretty much since the 1950s. There was a brief rebellion in the late 60s that lasted until the Reagan era, then another brief revival of free thought under Clinton, but the fascists have had everything in control since 9/11. Now it's all Patriot Act and "Why do you hate America" and "If you're against us violating your constitutional rights, you're in league with the terrorists". I'm getting pretty sick of it.

Who do you think the "founding fathers" were? They were just extensions of the english ruling class. What we call the American Revolutionary War was really just an intramural squabble between english aristocrats.
It is the height of foolishness to think that this is anything new.

I hope you're not from America, cause if so I have wasted my tax monies educating you in even the most basic skills such as grammar and communication.
I should be able to charge some amount of money every time you write something as payment for the education you either couldn't absorb, or otherwise did not retain.
