I think you will find there is very little on-line (at least from legit sources) that is "free" on this subject. However, that doesn't mean it cannot be obtained through other sources.

Contact your local librabry and ask if they have access to the NFPA standards. NFPA 13, for example, is the standard for water sprinkler design. While NFPA 11 is the standard for Foam systems.
