Recently miscarried at 16 weeks. It was 5 weeks ago. Still no period. I am having light spotting though. Did have sex again two weeks after the miscarriage. Could the spotting be implantation spotting? Too soon to be pregnant again? Answers please!!

About four years ago I miscarried. After the bleeding stopped I tried to get pregnant again. I was pregnant about one month later. When you miscarry your body will promote a new pregnancy because it was already involved in the process of changing for the previous pregnancy. You could be pregnant or just starting your period.

I think that the body think it is still pregnant for up to 3 months after a miscarriage. ( I also miscarried a while back) Go to the doctor's if it bothers you, but otherwise it's kinda a period. Because the body is still thinking it's pregnant you spotted instead of a whole period.

Well i hope that make sense, it confused me when the doc told me. But it's harder to explain, as you can see.
Good Luck ( i got pregnant again in the 4th month after the miscarriage).
