Make a deal with him.
When he turns 18, he can perform all the body modification he can afford. He can get as many tats as he wants, as many piercings in as many places as he wants.
But you aren't going to pay for it and you aren't going to give permission to a minor because you LOVE HIM JUST THE WAY HE IS!
If he really wants it, he will get a job, save up his money, and treat himself on his 18th birthday to the tat or piercing of his choice.
Tyler.

Absolutely not! He's 15!!! He needs to learn he can't please everyone all the time. My son only has his left ear done (3 earrings @ 9yrs old). He is much to young to handle the care responsibilities for pierced nipples, I have both of them done, I know. That is a decision he needs to make as an adult not as a child. You don't want him to look back at this and think damn what the hell was I thinking! Especially to fit in with other kids. It's just a phase, he'll get through it.
Just for the record it doesn't mean your gay, how stupid of a reply.

More than likely, once he has gotten this piercing, he will still not be fitting in. Fitting in is basically having other people tell you what they think that you should do and that usually revolves around one person's social standing in a group or cliche. Who wil he be showing his really cool pierced nipples too??? He's fifteen years old, he still has to have time to get through school, get a job, and learn who he wants to be in life. Him being fifteen has nothing to do with nipple piercings and trying to fit in. He is only pleasing those who thinks that he should get it! In my opinion, my child better not even go there, and if they do, I will gladly tell them my answer, no. They shouldn't be thinking about piercings, there are so many other things to think about. Besides, to me, nipple piercings are not sexy or becoming in any shape, way, or fashion. That piercing will all be for nothing!

No, not yet at least...tell him that there are better ways to try to fit in and nipple piercing isn't it. There is such a thing as personality! Anybody can get a nipple piercing but that won't necessarily make them cool just like anyone can get a tattoo. It just doesn't guarantee people to like you or your fitting in.
In the meantime, tell him horror pus and infection stories. But seriously, if he really wants to do this, tell him that he would need to wait until he was 18. As long as he is under your roof, he should abide by your rules. In addition, if you feel like you're uncomfortable about this decision, let him know why and seriously talk to him about it.

Fit in??? Does he walk around school without a shirt on....or pull up his shirt showing off his nipples when he walks down the hall? That's crazy! If you let him do it, get him a t-shirt that says..."Hey, look at my nipples!" Tell him to find some way of standing out that makes him unique and not to CONFORM! He should at least wait untill his body is finished growing before doing anything like that...if he wants it done that bad right now, then he will still want it done in 4-5 years....

I've never heard of a professional studio who would pierce the nipples of ANYONE under the age of 18. It's considered assult on a minor w/ or w/o the parents consent. Its really up to you, if it's able to be done in your area, do you think he's old enough to take care of them properly? Does he participate in sports-they may be ripped out. IMHO He can wait till he's 18 for that on.

there are age limit laws for a reason. don't let him put a quilt trip on you to get them. if you do not feel comfortable with the piercings, then don't forget, you are the boss!I've had piercings of my own, so when i discuss this with my teen, she knows that i'm not just blowing smoke out my a**. She and I made a compromise. I don't know if its the same in all states, but here in south carolina, piercing age is 18.(any younger than that, your parent or guardian has to sign a waver.) I told her that if she doesn't bug me or try to harrass me about the issue of piercing, and if she shows maturity, we would discuss it again when she turns 17. example: my sister and brother inlaw let their 13 year old daughter get a naval piercing; she ended up getting it RIPPED OUT! OUCH! to me, she wasn't mature enough to handle the responsability.

No, at fifteen, that's crazy if you need your nipples pierced to fit in. He's too young. I think he should wait a few more years...I mean at 15 he's still growing even.

okay... it dont mean he's gay if he gets his nipples pierced... and it isnt desecrating his body IF HE WANTS IT DONE. dont let him get it done if he's just doin it to fit in... he's 15... what will he b doin nxt to fit in? piercing is an extremely personal experience between the piercer and piercee... it shouldnt b taken lightly... i think you should sit down and ask him why he wants it done and mayb explain that he should b himself... i was always different frm the other kids at school but i was lucky enuf to be strong enough to handle it... peer pressure is extremely hard for a kid of that age to deal with. i dont think the real issue is the piercing but mayb ur son being strong enough to be himself... it is the hardest thing to do at 15... but mayb he wants the piercings for himself... if so i see no harm in letting him get it done... as long as its not for him to fit in... hope all goes well

No, not for a 15 year old. Tell him you forbid it and if you know you can't trust him, say that YOU ARE GOING TO INSPECT HIS NIPPLES WEEKLY until he is 18. The prospect of that should mortify him enough to scare him off from getting it done behind your back.
