Or Fundable is also a good one for small projects.

They are usually called loan sharks. They charge high interest and hit you in the kneecap if your payments are late.
Most big banks have no interest in small business loans. Maybe you can find a small local bank that will take a chance on you.

Depending on what your idea is and how much money you need you either need to ask friends/family, find an angel (hard to do) or go to Prosper and ask there.
