This is a small point BUT.
I work for Royal Mail, and every year at Christmas, a representative
tells the nation on national television, that the christmas mail is heavier than the year before, when in fact it is lighter, and getting less and less every year.
so if they lie about that what else, have you any examples from where you work?

What planet have you been living on? In March 2003, we were taken to war in Iraq because Blair told us Saddam Hussain had weapons of mass destruction capable of being launched against us (I won't go into the distance problem - that is yet another problem) which was then found to be false.
In 2005 the Metropolitan Police Murdered De Menendez allegedly because our wonderful intelligence services (a contradiction in terms if ever there was one) identified him as a member of a terrorist plot. That also turned out to be a lie. The circumstances surrounding his death. We were told Sir Ian Blair - the Metropolitan Police Commissioner (strewth another blair - are they multiplying?) that when challeged he ran into the Tube station and down the escalator onto the train - another lie he was already on the train when the Anti-terror squad shot him without warning or any attempt at arrest.
Earlier this year that same Anti- terror squad from the Metropolitan Police raided another house in Forest Gate again allegedly on the say so of our wonderful intelligence service that a nest of terrorists resided there. Again a shot was fired and an INNOCENT MAN was injured and arrested without a shred of evidence against either him or his Brother who was also in the house with him and arrested at the same time.
These are just a sample of incidents that have happened in the last few years. I could cite many more but I think I have demonstrated quite sufficiently a definitive answer to your question.

I saw a newspaper article recently about three builders who were sued for lying to elderly citizens about the amount that materials cost, the time it would take to complete the job and the quality of their labour... ordinary service, I thought.
I'm a student though... it's hard to imagine lying at any point in this 'job'... unless it's the old... ah, I was sick, I couldn't come to the lecture. Seriously though, I have been pretty ill at various times throughout this year... rough.

Play with the Freedom of Information Act. Any state funded service can be forced to give you statistics under law within a certain time frame.
Ask away.

It relies upon on what the lie is like if I ask: Q: have you ever carried out something with yet another lady at the same time as we were relationship? A(lie): uh... no Than by no skill might want to forgive him. If it became: Q: What grade did you get in ELA? A(lie): ninety 8 that could want to slide

I worked in a chip shop when I was younger. All the fish was haddock (obviously there was plaice) but when customers asked for cod (which was on the menu) we were told to just give them haddock and tell them it was cod. Nobody ever complained. My manager said every chip shop he knew of only served one type of fish but advertised both. I know this is;nt a massive one like yours but it used to bug me!!!!!

It's all to do with how things look, statistics and figures that prove what they want to project about themselves, their organisations, their system, their objectives. To make their plans look viable, to make it look as if they are doing what the majority of people want, instead of their own agenda.
