They say laugh and the world laughs with you....cry and you cry alone.......how true would you say this is...either actually or figuratively?

yes angel sarcasm can be contagious just like laughter....but some of the grown ups might be wondering if there is any truth in people sharing others joy more readily than anothers pain.....

Laughing is actually very catching. You can experiment by watching a funny movie with a friend and you can begin to force laugh. Your Friend will also begin to laugh and then you start to really laugh.
Not sure if this works for crying

My interpretation is that it applies to each individual. If you are happy, those we love are happy with us. If we are sad, the people who care about us are sad. The world is a very big place!

i guess is cos laughter spreads around much easily, and sometimes people doesnt know what to do when you do cry.
