No I'm very careful when looking at home business opportunities. I would say that about 85% of the companies on the internet are scams requiring you to "pay" to work. Doesn't make sense does it? I wish there were stiffer penalties for some of the crud people have to put up with on the internet. Another good one is the so called "free ringtones". You go to the site and they try to get you to subscribe and "pay" for the free ringtones.

If you're looking to work from home. Do your research and check with the BBB (better business bureau) Like the one guy said, many out there are scams. Many are very legit and well known. Most all home based businesses require a "start up" fee which you're getting products to get started (you're not paying to work for them, you're working for yourself and learning to redirect your spending on things you'd buy anyway).
Do be careful especially if there's one that says "make money fast". There's no such thing as a get rich quick business. You have to be serious enough to want to work your business.
What I did was I got started at http://www.bedavis1.mywayout.net/ The presentation tells all about the company, the trend and how it works and there's no quirky misconceptions.
So what ever you do, be careful! Research!
Good luck!

No I havent fallen for that but it sounds like I scam. I currently work from home doing accounting for a corporation though the position started out as in the office job. I know that their are office type jobs available that you can do in a satellite office. Mainly customer service/call center and data entry. I had this article bookmarked about real jobs that you can do from home. Check it out. It includes a few links to company that do that sort of work.

There are some other good articles on MSN that talk about work at home opportunities.
This is one:

In the mean time if you need some extra bucks this is an easy way to make money....filling out surveys. I started about a month ago and have already made $40 with very little effort, an hour here, an hour there...Check it out. And as you refer more people to the site you can sit back and do nothing and still make money. I've been doing it and is really easy!

The opportunities are endless! Good Luck!

Thank you for the warning, I hate it when they try to scam you, especially with the common sense stuff, one site that I checked out recently was how to make money from your website with "adsense" but it has the same info, you can get from "google" or its forum, for free!!! Glad I am not new to this "making extra money"...anyway maybe you might be interested in the link below, free info etc

I have no idea who this company is, I work from home and I did get started with $29.00 and it's great. If you are looking to start working from home let me know and if you decide that this is not for you the $29.00 will be refunded to you in the first 4 months.

Report them at the http://www.bbb.org &
http://www.ripoffreport.com/search.asp
You should never have to pay to work from home! If they ask you for money for instructions or merchandise BEFORE telling you how they operate stay away!
If you want to work form home try
Selling on eBay using drop-shippers
Building web pages with advertising
...just to name a few!
