My 'friend' asked me a question and wanted my honist answer... so i gave it to him now he's mad because i told him the truth!!!!!

I had been in a relationship like that. And of course all the belittlement i received from telling the truth made me feel like i was wrong and so i would start to lie about things so we didnt fight. Then i snapped out of it and realized we've all done things in the past we may not be proud of and if someone we're seeing wants to know about these things they needto accept you for it and move on with you or stop asking such questions.
My answer: I was and if you are dont take that crap anymore and move on!

I think a more sensible question would be:
"Is anyone NOT in a relationship where your partner asks you a question and then gets mad at the true answer."

When someone asks you to be honest, tell them, OK but you might not like the answer. after that, its their problem.
Personally, I never ask questions that I might not like the answer....
And yes, EVERYONE does it once or twice.....before they learn LOL

tell him to man up. the truth may not be want you want to hear, he shouldnt ask questions he doesnt really want to know the answer to.
