That's amusing considering democrats are suppose to be "pro-choice". The morning after pill can't kill something that isn't there. It prevents implantation just like the regular birth control pill does.
Interesting fact, did you know that many regular birth control pills can be used as a morning after pill?

I can't get with the pro-life or pro-choice party line. A fertilized cell isn't a baby. A fetus with a brain and a heart certainly is. The morning after pill will stop a fertilized egg before it starts differentiating--that is, when it is just a ball of cells that are all identical and haven't begun developing into a child.
I think the morning after pill is on the same level as chemical contraception. It stops a baby from forming because it doesn't implant on the uterine wall. It gets flushed out with the period. This sometimes happens naturally and isn't even noticed by the woman it happens to.
That said, I like seeing the morning after pill approved, and would also like to see a ban on abortions after two or three weeks--the time when the ball of cells folds in on itself. It is this folding in on itself, and the relations between neighboring cells, that cause the embryo to begin to make different kinds of cells that lead to brain, spinal cord, heart, and other organs. Before that point I can't call the embryo a child. After that point, development moves so quickly, I'd have to call it a child.

Read things out before you go on a crazy-fest, okay?
It doesnt kill any babies, because there IS no baby, not even one producing yet, by the next day. You cant kill something that doesnt exist yet.
It simply prevents the sperm. That's it.
Besides, of the many things I dont like about Bush- THIS is not one of them. Which is better, babies being brought up by parents who never wanted them, nor had the means to afford them so they cant live a life they should be allowed to live-or going up for adoption where if the baby isnt white or asian, doesnt have a high rating in actually ever being adopted but rather living from one foster home to another- which, I've known several people who lived in foster homes which had been raped, molested, etc... or rather, neither of the above, but rather prevent it?
I think the word "pro-life" for people against abortion is all wrong, because they truly arent even thinking of where the baby's life will, going by the high rate of statistics, end up. It's not much of a life to live in a abusive poverty-stricken home or in nothing but foster homes, all because no one planned on you being born but were "pro life"... that doesnt sound like a happy life to me.
Pro choice IS pro life, because it gives people the freedom to know when they are ready to become a good parent.

The government does not kill babies by making abortion legal.
Only mothers can choose to have an abortion. Thus, it is mothers killing babies, not the government.
Since legally, the babies are not alive, it should not be illegal.
I'm not saying the mothers won't go to hell. I'm just saying there are no legal grounds for making it a crime.
No heartbeat, No brain wave, No crime.
On the other hand, those 2nd and third trimester abortions, where their hearts are beating or the brain is active...Yeah, that's murder, no way around that.
I thought I would clarify.
I do not support abortion. I just appose making it a crime.

first off no he is not. Second Thomas P. is a moron. The morning after pill just prevents pregnancies still. There is no fetus formed in the first 72 hours. So technically their is no life. But their is life in fetus, that is why abortion is wrong.

Give it a rest, ignorant moron.
Contraception is not killing, andn either is Abortion. The morning after pill is not some mass extermination weapon, its a pill to help unwanted pregnancies. In an over-populated world, this is critically needed, not your old-school moral dogma
