How many of you toss coins in fountains?

I build fountains and give them away for free to charities... An average fountain can bring in $10 Grand Plus a year in just loose coins.

Ive never seen fountains donated to charity. That sounds like an interesting idea, but I do not understand how it would work, unless they had somone to collect on a regular basis-maybe even 24 hours. What happens in the middle of the night - are there homeless bathing in the fountains and collecting cash?

I guess you would put the fountain in a better neighborhood, maybe...

Not so much as I did when I was a kid. But if I think the fountain is a way of raising money for a good cause, then I will throw in some coins. If its a purely commercial venture, lining the pockets of an already well-off company, then I don't tend to.

I do not toss coins in fountains because I obey the signs telling me not to do so.

I used to when I was little and careless. But my life seems more fountainless nowadays. But based on your stats I think I will put a fountain in my front yard. I could redo my patio.

I have time and again for fun. Usually it is my boy friends money I use, maybe that is why my wished dont come true. LOL
