As a teacher, I believe educators should be paid more! I also think garbage collectors should be paid much more, and anyone with a gross but necessary job. Politicians should be paid less, since most of them were rich before being elected, and it might help them "connect with constituents". Of course, professional athletes and movie stars are paid disproportionately to their contributions/abilities. But I guess that's part of our culture...

Teachers, Cops, Firemen, EMT's, Public servants in general. Most put up with crappy work conditions, and even crappier pay. Let's pay them what someone would have to pay us to do their job!
Who gets paid too much? Blow hard politicians! Most used to be lawyers, actors, or worse. Sports athletes too. They are the reason most Americans can't afford to take their kids to a ball game!

I think if you do dangerous work you should get more money. If you have just a desk job, maybe you shouldn't get all that much....But it kinda depends on what state you live in....I know from experience living and working in NJ,NY,MD,DC you get paid a hole lot more than....living and working in DE,SC,MO and I'm sure there's alot more other places.....
