How is that the Americans support Bush & consider him as the one who'll protect America from terrorism eventhough he is the ultimate terrorist?
Wars on Afganisthan, Iraq, the war on Lebanon with Israel at the front & the impending attacks on Iran, North Korea & Syria provide ample evidence to denote the mindset of Bush.

Journalistic spin!! Whenever there is an act of violence committed by a person or group of any other religion (ie. Baruch Goldstein walks into mosque in Palestine and kills 30 praying Muslims, Tim McV blows up building, ad naseum.....) it is never labeled as terrorism. Why is that? Spin doctors....... Whenever the individual is Muslim or it is a Muslim group, the terrorist label is attached. I smell an agenda.

Side note* Anyone can list MANY incidents of violence committed by ANY group. Posting a list of those incidents is not evidence. Point is, other violent attacks by groups or individuals not Muslim are not labeled as terrorists or terrorism.

Why do people blame the Germans for the Holocaust? It was thought of, planned and carried out by Germans true, but the German people didn't one day start gasing their neighbours...
Same with the Muslim Terrorists... Those that actually are behind the terrorism are like the idealists at nazi headquarters.
Who knows what goes through their minds? Is USA the new Jewish People, with one party being the agressor and the rest watching mutedly on the side.

Same as the Jews didn't cause the holocaust on themselves, USA didn't really make the terrorists blow themselves up (though, they've helped them quite a lot through the years)-
The jews undoubtedly had some qualities that made other races/people suspicious/envious of them, and that is true for USA also (in its case its traits include dubious foreign policy, and abuse of its "superpower" status.), but this, I stress, is not a just cause for someone to become a terrorist... It might be "a" cause, but it certainly isn't "the" cause.

Your question is very worthwhile. Americans and Europeans, too, fail to acknowledge their long, long history of meddling in Middle Eastern affairs and desire to divy up the riches from that part of the world. Arabs are pretty ticked over this and want all Western White Men out of there! While many Americans (and young Muslims) are encouraged to see this as the War on Terror with religion as the basis for it, it's really a tug-of-war about territory and wealth. Why should the USA have the right to tell Iran that it cannot have nuclear weapons? Would the USA have the audacity to say that to China and India? There are many things going on here. One that is not acknowledged is the USA's desire to block China and Russia from Iran's oil and gas, just as it did in Iraq. It's chess!

I partly agree with you that Bush and his lapdog Blair have terrorised parts of the muslim world all in the name of greed, but on the other hand from what has happened in the world so far Muslims do tend to be the perpertrators of mass killing and terrorism...I wish we ncould all live in peace theres too many bad things in the world what with cancers and child killing...we need to learn to stop wars...I also have a strong belief that muslims should stay in muslim countries and not migrate to christian countries, thats where the trouble begins im afraid.

Every person has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness -- Thomas Jefferson.

I don't think the world blames *ALL* Muslims. In America, many Muslims are held in very high regard.

Those who practice radical militant Islam are threatened by the western way of life -- equal rights for women (in theory). When Islamic fundamentalists see teenagers in their own country with Britney Spears albums that have her dancing around in a bare midriff, they realize that American pop culture is compelling and will corrupt/liberate their children. The only way to fight American culture, is to get it off the television, radio, the Internet and out of the theaters. And the only way to do that is to attack America itself.

There should be no illusion -- America is CURRENTLY at war with all tyrants, and with all countries that are not democracies. America is not fighting everyone with her army however. America is fighting with Hollywood, and with Rock Stars and with Ipods. The American message is simple -- everyone can have this lifestyle -- the secret is democracy.

Governments that disagree with the United States but have free people, have nothing to fear -- the United States HATES the French Government, and the French HATE the United States government -- but there will never be a war between them. In the history of the world, no 2 democracies have gone to war since the US v. UK in the war of 1812.

Governments that disagree with the United States, and stay in power through armed supremacy over their own people are living on borrowed time. America wants to feel safe, but what 9/11 showed is that as long as American culture is threatening to other people, Americans can expect those people to attack the United States directly. So rather than waiting around for the attack to come, America is going to do what it has to to feel safe.

And the only way America can feel safe is through the spread of freedom.

To answer your first question -- America correctly blames all cultures that believe that one group is inherently better than another, based on sex, race, religion or political belief. Those Muslims who believe that women should be clothed all the time -- yes we blame you and we're coming to destroy your way of life, not with soldiers but with actors and rock stars and books.

If people want American aggression to stop, then realize that it willl not stop until Americans feel safe.

Perhaps considering Afganistan, Lebanon,Iraq, Iran, Syria are filled with Muslims who intend to convert or kill us (they said it, not me), and they want to "drive Israel into the sea" (they said that too). I would think that is more indicative of the mindset of radical Islam rather than Bush.

Bush happens to stand betweem the radicals and their stated goals. He happens to be the leader of the free world. He happens to be president.

When he's gone, you'll see the next president behave the same way as Radical Islam leaves us no choice.

So, it has little to do with Bush but who he is.

Because it's easier to call Muslims "terrorists" than it is to call yourself a "bully". The Bush administration is the most corrupt, evil, cowardly, incompetent, arrogant body ever to occupy the White House, in full collusion of an equally corrupt, cowardly and incompetent U.S. Congress.
Bush deserves to be tried in an international tribunal for high crimes against humanity, and - if convicted - should face a public firing squad for all the carnage he has imposed on this Earth. He is the ultimate terrorist. -RKO-

The Muslim community is blamed (unfairly, I would add) because many terrorists happen to be Muslims.

I wouldn't say Bush is the ultimate terrorist, though. Terrorism involves intentionally killing innocent people to inspire terror, which will lead to certain objectives. Though Bush's decisions have resulted in many innocent people killed, he did not specifically intend for them to die. Furthermore, his actions were done not to inspire terror in civilian populaces, but to eliminate military threats.

And YOUR suggestion for a remedy is what?? I mean, other than Bush bashing and Bush hating....I missed it. ;) Its so easy to "armchair quarterback" the President, isn't it? If whats going on today went on in WWII, we would ALL be speaking German. Be thankful where you are born and live. Sadly there is war. But freedom is not nor never will be cheap. Only talk is cheap.
