I hope that you will meet a lot of very nice American people, and that you will see that they don't hate Arabs. Most of them don't hate anyone at all. They just want everyone to be happy and have a good life. They don't even think it's right to hate their "enemies." I think you'll find that because middle-eastern people were the cause of 9/11 and other terrorist acts against the US, they are suspicious of them, but once they get to know them they get over their fear and easily make friends. They also don't hate Jews and can't understand why others hate them. If the Jewish people are living their lives the best they can and letting other people live theirs, they have no reason to have bad feelings towards them. Live and let live is their motto, I guess. There is too much hate in the world. It's better to love and accept others, and encourage them to be the best people they can be.

There is way too much hate in the world . This is the land of the free and some people want to keep it that way ; myself included . It has nothing to do with hating Arabs. I do not hate Arabs . I do not personally know anyone who does .It is wrong to condemn a person because of his race. It is the one thing in life you are born with and can never change . How is a man's race-his doing ?And why would you get angry at a person's race or religion ? It is a senseless emotion .Those who blame innocent Arabs for acts of terrorism by others , are not acting in a responsible manner ;and that behavior is not condoned by the majority . There are many nice , productive Arabs living here in America . I wish you luck on your dream to come to America some day .

Go back and read your questions and switch the names around. Put the shoe on the other foot.
You are upset with Americans for not liking Arabs, but then you admit that most Arabs don't like Americans. You are upset because Americans are upset because some Arabs hate Jews, and you make it sound like it's OK to hate Jews. So why is it that as Americans, we are not allowed to dislike cultures that hate us and want to harm us and see no problems with hating the Jews? Of course, we should never judge an individual by his race or nationality, but a society that's been around as long as the Arab society should have gotten over coveting and hate long ago. This is what happens with religion takes the place of education. This is what happens when the gov't dictates information. It creates fallacies about other cultures and a growing hate that the gov't then uses to control them.

At least 3.5 million Americans are of Arab descent, so you see right there that you can't make any absolute statements about Americans because we are a diverse nation and we pride ourselves on our diversity. My Jewish father's best friend is an Egyptian-American, so he's living proof that people can learn how to get along. I'm married to an Armenian-American man who looks very Middle Eastern and can be mistaken for being an Arab, plus our last name is also common in Iran, so we'd be the last people to dislike Arabs. My guess is that the same goes for many other Americans of "ethnic" (non-western European)backgrounds - and America's ethnic population grows in percentage every year.
It would be wonderful if you could come to the U.S. to attend university. Then you'll see for yourself just how wonderfully diverse our country is and how we do our best to be tolerant of differences. We may not be perfect about being tolerant, but I think we do better than any other country on the planet in this respect.
Until you can come and visit us, please do not fully believe everything you hear from Arab-controlled media.

Strangely enough, you have hinted at the answer to your own question. It is the Internet. The reason people feel distrust and fear of others is lack of communication. I am an American who does not hate ANYBODY. I am not Christian, Muslim, Arabic or anything more or less than HUMAN. It is what makes us all the same. I will not ask you to deny your feelings or beliefs, just don't ask my to change mine. I have the right to learn more about your feelings/ beliefs, but reserve the right to follow my heart and mind.
I recently came into contact with a young Islamic Girl from Egypt through this very service and we have started to write each other. I correct her misunderstandings about the U.S., and she is teaching me about Islam and her world. If more people were to actually talk with each other, we would see that we are all the same and should learn respect for everyone, regardless of religion or nationality.
We are all HUMAN, and we should stick together.

Why do Arabs hate American? Why do muslims hate our way of life? Why do Arabs, muslims, etc wants to band American culture, music, etc? Why is everything america do and think is the work of the devil?
Why does everybody complaint and mouth off at the U.S. government for all their problems? Why don’t they mouth off to their own government? Why do foreign government blame U.S. people for their problem just because they can not help their own people? Is it their way of diverting their incompetence to someone elses government?
Look at all the nations that are having major problems, and have a good look at their government. Are their governments doing anything about beside pointing their fingers to the west?
I do not hate Arabs, Muslims, Mexican, or anyone.

Hey, thanks for reaching out.
You have to remember that all politicians from all countries have agendas. Normally, these agendas have nothing to do with what real, average citizens like you and me want to see accomplished.
As a result, you have leaders in the Arab world flaming tempers in order to hide government corruption and crimminal acts and in America you have the same; politicians flaming tempers here to keep the average citizen occupied by worrying about some spooky Arab man lurking in the shadows waiting to kill us all.
By doing this, they hope to keep America's attention away from real problems like America's failed foreign and economic policies, such as supporting corrupt, oppressive dicators rather than supporting offically elected leaders as determined by the people. And also by backing large multi national companies that commit crimminal acts abroad. These are the real reasons why people "hate" America. People hate American policies, not America or Americans.
If you want to come here when you grow up and work hard to achieve your goals you will be most welcome!

I think you've got the question backwards. Why do Arabs hate Americans?
I don't *hate* Arabs, but I recognize that a lot of Arabs (not all, but I'd say more than half) do hate America and everything we stand for. And many, I'm sure, have no clue what America is about, but they have been raised to hate us. That forces us into the position of being defensive. I'm sorry that you have to deal with these problems, but you can thank the extreme Islamic terrorists, not Americans, that things are the way they are.

I don't hate anybody, period. I am a plain ordinary everyday run of the mill Christian. Actually in America you are free to hate whomever you choose. We don't care who you hate. Flying planes into buildings and killing innocent Americans for any reason, now that we hate. That can really make us mad!!! Keep right on not hating us borother, and come on over when your old enough and check us out for yourself.

I don't think they hate all Arabs! That's as misguided as hating all the people in any group. What they hate, maybe a better word is fear, are those Arabs who have demonstrated the willingness to come to our country and kill innocent people because they hate us as demonstrated on September 11. Perhaps what we should work on is eradicating hate instead of people?!
