I've asked for a raise but never got an answer?

I asked my boss for a raise about two weeks ago. I have been here for 1 year now and deserve a raise. I reminded her a week later and she says she hasnt forgotten, but its now another week later and i havnt heard anything! What should I do?

I guess the question is, if you don't get a raise, what is the alternative? Would you quit?

Sometimes, it takes weeks to process a raise. I would ask your boss if she is working on getting you a raise (because you deserve it). She should say yes or no. I wouldn't be be worried that a raise takes time... the bigger the business, the longer it takes.
