How do you find a good life partner?

I am shot to bits in recognising a good woman who will help me move forward in life. Where do I go and what do I look for?

You don't look for her and don't ask God (if you believe) to help you to find her. If you believe in God, then ask him to *send* a special woman *to you*. That way, you don't have to go looking!

In the meantime, focus on making yourself to be the very best person that you can be, and learn how to be true to yourself.

This worked for me and my love. He's twenty years older, but we couldn't be more perfect for eachother in almost every way. Each of us had been frustrated and stopped looking and just asked God to "send the other one to us". We met through a mutual friend on a night that I didn't feel like going out!

Look for someone who has the same values and views as you do, also if you are religious, you should seek to find someone who is also religious as to not have arugments (on what type of religion your kids are going to be raised in).

If you go to church then you should continue praying that God will send someone special into your life. Then take it from there.

she isnt in the bars or club scenes that's for sure. I would start with praying for the right women that you can be equally yoked with. Then i would go to Harmony .com it seems like the best match making service. if you want todo that, think about getting into a singles ministry.

What is really important you to spend time doing besides work?
Spend time doing those activities that involve other people. I think the key to longevity in a relationship is to find someone you can "play" with, who likes to do the same things you like to do. Its no good if she likes to ride motorcycles and you are deatlhy afraid of them and won't get near one. It won't work.
