I used to dress for success, but the fellas down at the quarry always made fun of me so now I go in for the more casual.

Try to run it both ways at the same time, sometimes. But dressing for success has its own time, and casual and comfortable has its time t.

I think dressing well each day for your career is important. I think it sends the message that you care not only about your own appearance, but that you care about your work. As far as what you wear, that all depends upon what your work is. For example, if I was a butcher, I would wear a clean white shirt and comfortable slacks, with a clean cutting jacket each day. If my outer jacket became too dirty during the course of my day, I'd be sure to change it. That extra cost and care would be rewarded with my own sense of cleanliness and knowing that I'm doing my part to be the best butcher that I can be, in which cleanliness MUST play a part.
