Why do Women gossip so much?

Why do women gosspip and talk badly about one another. We all know how much it hurts when it happens to us, why do we continue and continue . . . .

Not all females gossip. In my opinion, the people that do gossip usually have an inferiority complex, are jealous, or just haven't grown up.

Main thing is never let the gossipers know they have bothered you. If you don't waste your time worrying about and reacting to what they say, they will move on to someone else.

First, it's not only women. Men do it, too.

Secondly, women in particular talk about other people because they are biologically predisposed to be very interested in the various relationships between people. So they discuss them.

Thirdly, you're just hanging out with some mean people. Sure, I talk about people and discuss them, but I don't spread nasty or malicious talk about anyone, and I don't associate with people who do. You CAN talk about other people without being mean. Try it. "Did you hear? Joe's daughter is top of her class at school!" It's easy.

not all women do that. the ones that do are jealous of the one they are talking about. and to make themselves feel better and make the one feel even worse, they talk bad about her. i know because i was the one being talked about. a handful of girls at work used to say things about me because all the guys liked me (and still do) the guys always called me cute, commented on my smile, and told me to keep going to school and keep working out. the girls were mad because here they were desperately trying to get the guys' attention and i put no effort into it, and got attention enough for me and the lot of them. personally, i'm not the jealous type. i can't get mad at the next girl because she has something i don't have and the guys like her. i just can't. i can only hope that someone likes what i have and if they don't, that's their lose not mine!

9 times out of 10 they are gossiping about an ex,their current boyfriends ex,or some women that pissed them off. drama ridden women live off this stuff because they wanna feel superior and laugh at others faults.

it makes alot of women and men feel better about themselves to put others down.we know we dont like to be talked about but we do it anyways because its never ending cycle of dislike for certain people who have done us wrong. its dumb and childish but its never gonna go away sadly.

It's been my experience that men gossip more than women, but women seem to be more spiteful when they do it. Maybe they are jealous.

its a bonding ritual telling of secrets to a trusted fiend its what woman do an it can be fun my ex gossips just as much (if not more) than i do so i know its not just us guys

most of it is just normal for humans guys do as well but usually do toward females and are perty mean, us not sure why if we grow up w/ or if the incrowd thing or just bored but one thing is if we let it get to us the ones who do it to hurt you will win and you shouldnt let it happen dont let em win.
