It's kind of something you have or don't have. You can't just learn to be trendy. Try on what you think is a trendy outfit, then see what people think. Or just try and look good. You can have the trends, but actually being trendy is different.

Anyways, on the budget part, I like H and M. It's cool and not really expensive. Also Aeropostale, if you're not too old for it (I would say eighteen is too old, but that's just me).

Anyways, good luck shopping, darling!

Invest in a good fashion magazine first... Then head down to normal shops n try to get the sales person to help u match what u ve seen in the mag. Or get a similar piece(top/bottom) n get some help from the local tailor... If u r in singapore or malayasia, it wouldn t be problem at all cos there s like soooo many budget shops available.... Hope it helps, sweets...

Shop at thrift stores. You can put together great outfits for almost nothing. It's a great feeling to walk into a store and think "I can afford anything I find in here!" and not worry about looking at price tags. Also, when you shop at Salvation Army or Goodwill, you are helping a charity by shopping there.

Check out the latest trends in magazines and on tv and then go to inexpensive stores to get items similar. People do it all the time and pass it off quite nicely! Good Luck and Happy Shopping!

You can be trendy dearie without spending alot of money. I try as much a possible to get celebrity magazines and dress the way they dress being modest as much as possible and with ideas here and there, you can look evry trendy.

Ask stylish friends for their clothes when they grow out of them. Try some individual cuties to match a simple pair of skinny jeans. Buy the basics.

Go to discount or teen stores. They cost less and even if quality isn't as great you won't be wearing it after 3 months anyway. Go to the likes of Target, Kmart, sears or Contempo

Its all about appearances, get the most bang for your buck, buy used buy things that look expensive from a distance and you'll be in there. Of course on the other hand, who cares?
