you can do a play on many things..

blouses: follow the same rule as the children, the sleeves must be at least a hand width wide.. Button downs are ok but make sure to bottun at least one inch over the cleavage.. same with v-necks.. no deep v's!! also the length must be long enough to tuck in... not meaning you have to tuck your blouse in but long enough to not show your middrif...

slacks: the easy part.. take advantage of city shorts; professional yet comfortable... skirts are ok but keep them knee length.. young boys eyes wonder too.. finally slacks themselves.. wide leg straight fit... very sleek and prossional looking..

shoes: med. heels.. just enough heel to look like the teacher and not the student but not to much to where they hurt.. remember teaching requires standing.. if you want an open toe look get a rounded toe shoe.. if you want a closed toe look get a pointed toe shoe..

last but not least remember color is a good thing.. explore the rainbow and know what looks good on you and then wear it.. and please, dont ever match your shoes with you blouse.. big fashion no no.. make the shoe pop from your outfit.. perfect example..
white fitted button down blouse (express)
black wide leg slacks (expess, or any dep. store)
red earings and a red closed pointed toe... (local shoe store)

professional, comfortable, but still edgy so the studant can connect with you and listen to your lectures..

good luck!!

I wouldn't show any skin that's for sure. Dress modestly but in style. Don't dress llike a teeny boper. Dress with style and authority. No jeans. Don't look like you just got out of the garden to come to work. Very little jewelry.

For a man: shirt, tie, khakis or dress pants.
For a woman: skirt or dress at knee-length or longer, or dress pants or khakis, with a modest top. No cleavage or strip of tummy showing!

professional style, please don't go to teach with a mini skirt or tight fitting skirt on, you may also want to purchase a few blouses, don't give those young guys any skin or cleavage to look at, you'll see a lot of lil kids with hard ons in ur classroom.
